Dr. Sandra Wendschlag has been practicing Audiology since 1986. She worked for a large audiology group for 11 years prior to opening Landmark Hearing Services in 1997. She is a licensed professional and maintains her continuing education hours. She received her Master's degree at San Jose State in 1986 and her Doctorate degree through Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2003. She was named Sunnyvale's "Audiologist of the Year" by the Consumer Business Review. She has received the Bucharest Street Children's Project:"Hope Giver Award". She has traveled to Tanzania to provide hearing help with solar powered hearing devices for those with limited options.  Her office has sent $12,000 to build a well in Africa and has sent over $11,000 to Help One Child, a local agency helping kids and caregivers in the Foster Care system. Dr. Sandra is married and has 2 kids in college and 1 in high school. Her practice is centered on professionalism, personal care and integrity.


Knowles Katherine I. Knowles

Katherine has been helping people in the South Bay hear better for over 20 years. She joined Landmark Hearing in 2005. Katherine has extensive experience both dispensing hearing instruments and teaching in local convalescent facilities and senior centers. She has helped Landmark Hearing develop their comprehensive  Aural Rehabilitation program, educating their patients to provide the best possible hearing with use of hearing aids, assistive devices, listening skills, communication strategies and community resources.

Katherine graduated from San Jose State University with a M.A. in Audiology. She also received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology while attending San Jose State. She took her passion for studying people and their cultures to help the hearing impaired community.

Katherine volunteers at Mt. View High School raising money, and for the Mt. View Babe Ruth Association. She has been happily married for 17 years and has one son. In her spare time she enjoys kayacking, biking and hiking.
